He recently lost nearly 150 pounds. He shared a picture on Instagram showing his remarkable achievement.

Bronson was 400 pounds and decided to lose weight after the birth of his son in 2020. He finally decided that it is high time for him and said in Men’s Health “I’ve been a big boy my whole life and it got out of control,”. “My entire career was based around living a fast, hard life. And I got myself together and here we are in December and I’m 249 pounds this morning—shredded!”

He made great changes in his diet and strictly followed a workout routine to keep himself fit and healthy.

“It’s all diet, you have to just eat clean, no cheating, no bullshit, just eat clean. There’s no trick, you can make it taste as good as it can possibly taste. You gotta like vegetables, you gotta like clean things. Otherwise, you’re just eating for nutrition, you’re not gonna find joy in it. But there are ways. I’m eating lots of vegetables. If you’re gonna eat any type of carbs, I like to eat wild rice. Lots of broccoli. Lots of things that are high in protein vegetable-wise. Just things that I like eating. I literally like every vegetable. So I’m just mixing it up as much as I can, trying to keep that low carb, keep that waist slim and trim.

“Green juice is a beautiful thing,” Bronson said. “Kale, celery, green apple, ginger, a little lemon. It’s one of the greatest things on earth, it’s lowered my cholesterol, and it’s taken away the chance of diabetic situations. I’ve lost like 80 fucking pounds, man. 80 pounds is a lot of weight… And I’m still fat, so like I said, it shows you I was a fat asshole. Right now I’m just an asshole.”

Action Bronson Weight Loss Diet

Bronson gets up at 4:30 in the morning. He eats soft scrambled eggs with a protein shake. “I have to make two portions because it’s an after-the-workout shake also,” he said. 

He shared the recipe for his protein shake: 

(Shake recipe: fruit, olive oil, almonds, almond milk, protein.) 

Bronson makes 2 portions of shakes for pre and post-workout. 

After a heavy workout, Bronson takes 5-10 egg whites and chicken for his lunch. “I wanna look like Eddie Hall,” Bronson said, grinning—and broccoli—defrosted in hot water, thrown with olive oil into a hot pan, and sautéed with garlic: “beautiful.”

He completely avoids unhealthy snacks and prefers roasted nuts with honey, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, or a protein shake.

“It’s so hard to tell you what I eat because it’s different day-to-day. My mother-in-law may be there and she’s making sopita — you can’t say no to that, but it’s healthy,” Bronson said. 

The rest of the day he eats healthy like sopita or other soups, “you’re boiling out all this goodness, all this soul, and you’re putting back into your soul”—and then a light, low-carb dinner—grilled chicken and broccoli.

“I haven’t had a good pasta in months, man,” he said, sadly. “I love pasta.” The difference for Bronson these days, however, is willpower. He completely cut off the desert from his diet. Though he enjoys his strict and healthy diet but misses eating carbs like pizza and good pasta. As the rapper loves pasta a lot. 

“It’s hard to have dessert,” Bronson explained in Men’s Health. “You become unconscious when you’re eating that stuff. You can’t gauge the size and what the impact has. The smallest thing could be the worst thing in the world.”

For his sweet cravings, Bronson eats natural, unprocessed sweets like raw cacao and almond butter or just a fruit. On very special occasions he would like to have baklava. 

Action Bronson Workout Routine

Action Bronson’s workout is as intense as his diet. “I run, I do my push-ups, I do a lot of cardio work,” he shared. “I juice a lot, drink green juice two times a day.” 

He does different types of workouts to keep himself fit and strong. He does various cardio workouts, weight lifting, and muscle training exercises. Here are some exercises which he does:

  • Dumbbell Bench Press
  • Back Squats to Pause on Bench
  • Hack Squats
  • Hamstring Curls
  • Heavy Leg Press (He mentions walking lunges, kettlebell jump squats, box jumps, and more on this post)
  • Lots of Boxing and Kickboxing
  • Lateral Raises
  • Hammer Strength Bench
  • 100 sumo squats
  • kettlebell swings

His workout regime includes all the above exercises that make him strong, toned, and fit.
